Your reputation is now the first thing people see.

Star ratings sit beside your name in Google, on the map and in every comparison a customer makes. A business with a handful of old reviews looks riskier than one with a steady stream of recent ones, even if the first is better at the job.

Good reputations are not manufactured; they are collected. Most happy customers will leave a review if it is easy and someone asks. Most unhappy ones calm down when they get a prompt, human reply. We put both habits in place and keep them running.

  • Every customer asked, the same way
  • Replies within an agreed time
  • Unfair reviews reported through the proper channels
  • A clear view of how you compare locally

What is included

What reputation management covers.

A system for earning trust, not a trick for hiding criticism.

01

Reputation audit

Where you are reviewed, what people say and how you compare with the businesses customers weigh you against.

02

Review generation

A simple routine (QR codes, links, texts and emails) that asks every customer at the right moment. Powered by Google Review Master.

03

Response management

Thoughtful replies to praise and to criticism, written in your voice and agreed with you where it matters.

04

Monitoring and alerts

New reviews flagged as they arrive, so nothing sits unanswered for weeks.

05

Branded search results

What appears when someone searches your name: profile, site links, directories and press, corrected, completed and strengthened.

06

Unfair and fake reviews

Reviews that break platform rules are reported with evidence through the proper process. We do not promise removals, because the platform decides.

07

Team playbook

A short guide for your staff: when to ask, what to say and how to handle a complaint before it becomes a review.

08

Reporting

Review volume, rating, response time and how you compare locally, month by month.

Not sure where you stand? Ask a person to look.

How it works

Four steps to a reputation that holds.

  1. Listen

We read what is already being said and find where the gaps and risks are.

  2. Ask

A review routine goes live so every customer is invited, not just the ones you remember.

  3. Answer

Every review gets a considered reply, and problems are routed to someone who can fix them.

  4. Strengthen

Your best feedback is shown where buyers look: your site, your profile and your search results.

What we will not do. We do not write fake reviews, pay for positive ones or steer unhappy customers away from public review sites. Those practices break Google’s policies, and since April 2025 fake reviews and undisclosed incentivised reviews are banned in the UK under the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024. A reputation built that way does not last.

Questions

Reputation management: straight answers.

Something we have not covered? Ask us directly, a person will answer.

Can you remove a bad review?

Only the platform can remove a review, and only if it breaks their rules, for example, it is fake, abusive or about the wrong business. We report those properly, with evidence. A fair but negative review is best handled with a good reply and a lot more recent positive ones around it.

Is it all right to offer a discount in return for a review?

We advise against it. Google does not allow incentives for reviews, and UK consumer law bans incentivised reviews that are not clearly disclosed. Asking every customer, plainly, works better and carries no risk.

How many reviews do we need?

There is no magic number. Aim to have more reviews, and more recent ones, than the businesses you are compared against, and keep them coming steadily rather than in bursts.

Should we reply to every review?

Yes, including the good ones. Replies show future customers that someone is listening, and Google itself recommends responding.

Do you cover Facebook, Trustpilot and Tripadvisor as well as Google?

Yes. Google usually matters most for local search, but we monitor and manage the platforms that matter in your sector.

Do you offer reputation management outside York?

Yes, we work with businesses in Harrogate, Leeds, Selby, Malton and across North Yorkshire, and further afield for multi-location brands.
